R²T launch is being spread...

Ghent University is proud to announce the R²T kick-off.

The launch is officially communicated through the website of the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering and the website of the TechTransfer Office. UGent TechTransfer enables and facilitates translation of UGent result research towards the socio-economic and industrial environment. The communications can be found via the following links:

R²T Kick-Off Event

On January 29 2015, the R²T consortium will officially kick-off. This event will start with the first R²T advisory board meeting. Afterwards, there will be presentations by the partner companies and the research groups. The event will end with a poster session with network reception and a dinner with all partners. We hope to welcome all partners!


- 12-14.30: Lunch and R²T advisory board (members exclusively)

- 14.30-15.30: break and lab visits (members exclusively)

- 15.30-17.30: R²T partner introductions (members and invites exclusively)

- 17.30-18.30: reception and poster session (members and invites exclusively)

- 19.00: dinner (members exclusively)

Recorded seminars available

It is the intention of the R²T consortium to put as much as possible information accessible for the members. Relevant seminars, given by both externals and research group members will be video-recorded if possible. Video recordings (containing slide decks and audio) can be displayed, for members only, in the 'Seminars' section. The first 2 seminars, given by prof. em. Willy Verstraete and by Klaas Schoutteten (PaInT) are now put online. Enjoy!

R²T Launch

Ghent University research groups LabMET, PaInT and Biomath are proud to launch te website of the R²T consortium. This website will be the virtual meeting point for both partner companies and researchers. Courses, projects, seminars, publications and theses subjects: everything will be published here. The website still needs some work. However, we aim at finalizing it soon!
